Child Family Health International (CFHI) is a global family of committed professionals and students who work at the grassroots level to promote the health of the world community. 

Their programs are available to Physiotherapy students; however, they are not designed to provide opportunities to gain clinical competency and/or clinical knowledge.  Instead, they focus more on providing exposure to public health systems in other countries. 

CFHI programs are not volunteer positions, but rather they are global health immersion programs that are based on a service-learning model.  Physiotherapy students participating in CFHI programs would be exposed to a wide variety of clinical settings, in which they would participate as active observers.
